The 2026 ARIA Awards will mark their 40th anniversary with comedians Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald taking the stage as hosts. Organizers announced the pair will lead the ceremony on November 18 at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.
The announcement also confirmed that DJ and presenter Latifa Tee will join the broadcast team, while Georgie Tunny and Angela Bishop will help handle red carpet coverage. The lineup brings together comedy, music and entertainment personalities for one of Australia’s biggest annual music events.
This year’s nominations are led by Genesis Owusu and Tame Impala, who received eight nominations each. Ecca Vandal follows with seven, placing all three among the most recognized artists heading into the ceremony.
The awards will honor Australian music across 29 categories, covering a wide range of genres and achievements. The 2026 edition will also celebrate four decades of the ARIA Awards, adding an anniversary focus to the performances, presentations and artist appearances planned for the night.
