Dates have been announced for this summer’s Keweenaw Waterway cruises on the Ranger III.
Cruises will depart from the Isle Royale National Park Houghton Visitor Center at 12:30 on June 25th and July 16th. Passengers must arrive by 11:45 for check-in and boarding.
Each cruise lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours, and will travel to the South Entry and back. During portions of the cruise, a park ranger will present historical information about the waterway.
Advance reservations are encouraged, and can be made at the National Park Houghton Visitor Center during regular business hours – Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Call (906) 482-0984 for information. Cruise prices are $36.00 for adults, $18.00 for youth (age 1-15), and infants under one year receive a free ticket.
