Protecting Lake Superior’s watershed is a lifelong mission of many residents across the Upper Peninsula.
On Sunday, Keweenaw Unitarian Universalist Fellowship hosts a virtual program in partnership with the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative. The program, geared toward K-12 students, will feature Erika Vye leading a presentation.
Vye works as a geosciences research scientist at the Great Lakes Research Center at Michigan Technological University and is a member of the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative’s leadership team. She will share the importance of connecting people with stewardship practices early.
The presentation with Vye and the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative will begin at 10 a.m. online. Those interested in joining the program can find a stream link online.
