A Laurium woman faces felony drug charges following a recent traffic stop in Ironwood.
Thirty-six-year-old Chelsey Nicole Kuopous was among multiple occupants of a vehicle that was stopped for an equipment violation February 21st by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team while entering Michigan from Wisconsin.
Officers seized about 56 grams of methamphetamine they found in the vehicle, along with other items associated with trafficking and sales.
Gogebic County Prosecutor Nick Jacobs has charged Kuopous with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, and Possession of Methamphetamine in a Park.
Kuopous is being held on bond in the Houghton County jail.
