In Houghton County, the Bootjack Fire on Bootjack Road is open as a warming station, and for running and charging essential communications and medical devices. All residents without power are welcome.
In Baraga County, the Niiwin Akea center in Baraga is open as a warming shelter and charging station, and will remain open for the duration of the power outage. Bring your own food, water, and any medications. Pets are not permitted.
In Ontonagon County, warming sites include the Holy Family Catholic Church, the Ontonagon Fire Hall and the Greenland Fire Hall.
