In high school volleyball last night…
- Calumet dropped the first set, then came back to defeat Negaunee 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-21). Millie Loukus had 47 assists, 15 digs and 2 blocks. Jess Anderson had 35 digs, Bailey Strom 8 kills and 12 digs, Amiina Tarnowski 11 kills and 2 blocks, Chloe Coppo 11 kills and 23 digs, Braylinn Anttila 11 kills and 14 digs, and Grace Keranen 10 kills. - Hancock swept Westwood 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-16).
- Lake Linden-Hubbell’s game against Watersmeet was called off because of transportation issues.
- Baraga swept Ontonagon 3-0.

MLB
The Dodgers defeated the Brewers 5-1 last night, and took a 2-0 lead in the National League Championship Series. Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched a complete game for L-A, allowing just three hits. Freddy Peralta pitched into the sixth for Milwaukee, allowed three runs, and took the loss. The series shifts to Los Angeles for game three tomorrow night.
The Mariners host the Blue Jays tonight. Seattle leads the American League Championship Series 2-0.
NHL
The Red Wings host the Panthers this evening. Coverage will begin at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.
There’s no word yet as to the status of Lucas Raymond, who left Monday’s game with an upper body injury.
NBA
The Pistons suffered a 118-100 exhibition loss to the Cavaliers last night. Cade Cunningham didn’t play for Detroit. Tobias Harris and Daniss Jenkins led the team with 19 points each. The Pistons host the Wizards for their final preseason tune-up tomorrow. Listen for selected Pistons broadcasts again this season on 99.3 The Lift.
The Bucks wrapped up their preseason schedule last night with a 116-112 loss to the Thunder. Cole Anthony led Milwaukee with 21 points.
