Michigan Technological University’s College of Engineering names a new Associate Dean of Graduate and Online Education. Amy Landis will join the MTU College of Engineering as the Associate Dean of Graduate and Online Education starting next week.
Landis recently worked at the Colorado College of Mines as a professor of civil and environmental engineering and presidential faculty fellow for Diversity, Inclusion, and Access. As the association dean, she will support recruitment, retention, and student success, overseeing 40 online programs.
Dean of the College of Engineering Michelle Scherer says this new position focuses on preparing students for successful careers in industry, academia, and to join the public sector.
