- Superior Service defeated JB’s 6-2. Josie Heinonen struck out 15 to get the win. Milly Loukus had a single, a double and a home run for Superior Service, and Dela Jefferey added a single and a double. Lucy Biekkola had two singles and a double for JB’s, and Anika Schlief had two singles.
- Gold Standard downed Old Bats of Michigan Made 11-10 in eight innings. Payton Goldsworthy struck out 15 to earn the win, and hit a home run. Kyara Mills had a pair of doubles for Gold Standard, and Olivia Shank hit one. For Old Bats, Romi Mattson had two doubles and Sarah Dowd had two singles
- The game between Northern Wishes and Finnish Coat was postponed.

College Hockey
Michigan Tech has hired another assistant hockey coach. L.J. Scarpace joins the Huskies after six seasons as the video coach for the Red Wings. Scarpace served as video coordinator and director of player development for the University of Michigan hockey program for 13 years, and played collegiately as a goaltender for Western Michigan and Michigan.
MLB
The Tigers won their fourth straight game last night, cruising past the Rays 5-1. Keider Montero came up from Toledo to start the game, and gave up a run on four hits over six innings. Javier Báez, Colt Keith and Zach McKinstry homered.
The Tigers continue that home set against the Rays tonight. Jack Flaherty will pitch against Ryan Pepiot. Coverage will begin at 6:15 on 99.3 The Lift.
To make room for Montero, the Tigers sent Bailey Horn back to the Mud Hens.
The Brewers walloped the Dodgers 9-1 last evening. The Crew plated five runs in the first inning, powered by a three-run homer by Andrew Vaughn in his first at-bat as a Brewer. Christian Yelich also homered, and Freddy Peralta tossed six scoreless innings.
The Brewers continue that home series against the Dodgers tonight. Jacob Misiorowski will start against Clayton Kershaw.
Vaughn was called up from Nashville because first baseman Rhys Hoskins was placed on the injured list with a sprained thumb.
NBA
The Pistons completed the sign-and-trade deal with wing Duncan Robinson yesterday. He comes to Detroit from the Heat, where he gained a reputation as one of the best three-point shooters in the league. The Pistons dealt Simone Fontecchio to Miami as part of the deal.
Detroit also sent guard Dennis Schröder to the Kings as part of a sign-and-trade deal. Schröder had signaled that he wanted to move on from the Motor City. Detroit included a second-round draft pick in 2029… and received a protected 2026 second-round pick in exchange.
And, Chaz Lanier signed his rookie contract with the Pistons. Detroit claimed the former Tennessee guard in the second round of the recent NBA Draft.
The Bucks officially waived guard Damian Lillard yesterday. The move had been anticipated, with Lillard facing all or most of next season on the sidelines with an Achilles tendon injury. Milwaukee also said goodbye to guard Vasilije Micić. The Bucks acquired Micić from the Hornets just last month, but will buy out his contract, and let him become a free agent.

- Calumet One blanked L and L 9-0.
- Houghton Building Supply stopped Mohawk Superette 7-2.
- Harter’s Party Store turned back Loading Zone 8-1.
