Michigan Tech is announcing that there are two Career Champions sessions remaining for this semester, and Career Services invites those educators interested to participate in this growing network. Student career readiness is strengthened every day by the faculty and staff across campus who help Huskies prepare for what comes next. Join Career Services at Michigan Tech for an informative, engaging session to enhance efforts in getting students ready to launch.
Career Champions is designed to build shared knowledge around career development and hiring trends. Champions complete a 2.5‑hour, in‑person workshop that introduces foundational career‑readiness topics, including NACE competencies, resume and interview guidance, employer recruiting practices and student‑facing tools like Handshake. After the workshop, champions receive ongoing support through a dedicated Canvas course, short‑form booster sessions, tailored collaboration with Career Services, and a regular email digest with concise updates tailored to the network.
