During an appearance on Monday’s (November 24) episode of the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast, Simon Cowell revealed that he is “not a fan” of Bob Dylan. The 66-year-old British TV personality also made the startling admission that he was unaware Dylan wrote the song, “Make You Feel My Love,” which was famously covered by Adele. “I think if [Dylan] walked in and sang that version, I’m not gonna lie, I would’ve gone, ‘Forget it,'” said the X Factor judge, while adding, “But if people like him, then they like him, and if you don’t, that’s fine.” Cowell went on to praise Kelly Clarkson, the first winner of American Idol. “You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect winner. And we’re still friends today,” Cowell says. “She’s an amazing person, incredible personality. And just this killer voice.” Cowell’s new show, Simon Cowell: The Next Act, premieres on Netflix on December 10, and follows his search to create the next global boy band sensation. (People)
