Copper Country Angel Mission and Salvation Army continue to provide coats for people that missed the recent pop-up free store. On Friday and Saturday Coat the Copper Country will open for a final push to make sure people have a winter coat before snow starts falling. On Friday the Copper Country Angel Mission will host the free store from 4 to 7 pm inside the calumet theatre ballroom. The store will reopen inside the ballroom on Saturday from 10am to 2 pm. Organizers will register shoppers when they arrive on Friday or Saturday. CCAM board member Renee Tourniemi says the Coat the Copper Country campaign hopes to provide warmth to anyone in need this winter. The store does have some additional winter gear items such as hats, gloves, and boots. Learn more about Coat the Copper Country online.
