Jesse Wiederhold has been promoted within Visit Keweenaw to the role of Managing Director.
Earlier this week’s Visit Keweenaw Executive Director Brad Barnett announced Jesse Wiederhold will act as the tourism and visitor bureau’s Managing Director. Providing crucial in-person support for the organization. Wiederhold will head Visit Keweenaw’s new visitor center in Houghton and continue to play a vital role in encouraging local membership, community engagement and outreach.
Barnett says he plans to continue to lead Visit Keweenaw as the Executive Director, managing the bureau’s strategic planning and vision for marketing key initiatives. Barnett will visit the region regularly to conduct vital in-person work with regional stakeholders and valued members.
Wiederhold was brought onto the Visit Keweenaw team in 2022 to assist Barnett and Visit Keweenaw’s growing membership and visitor economy as a community relations and events coordinator.
