Sometimes the library needs to have fun too. Tomorrow, the Portage Lake District Library will host a comedy performance with the nationally known Spoon Man.
The library invites families, seniors, and the community to enjoy a fun afternoon program with humor, spoon tricks, and plenty of audience participation. The Spoon Man has entertained groups for more than 50 years, playing spoons and storytelling that engages a wide audience. Program coordinator Asako Nakamura says the event is a great opportunity for clean, silly joy for kids, seniors, and anyone in between. The program will begin at 1 pm on July 9th.
